South Korea was awesome. I was in Hongdae, a university district that reminded me a lot of WSU in Pullman. Lots of bars, restaurants, shopping, street markets, and tons of beautiful girls. People didn’t stare as I walked down the street and everyone I talked to spoke decent English. The streets were also a bit hilly and side streets everywhere. Which was nice compared to the gridlocked streets I’m used to in Beijing. Hongdae has lots of seafood restaurants, Korean street food vendors and a Taco Bell that kept me sufficiently satisfied. 2 days was certainly not enough time and I will be planning a return trip in the near future

Headed to South Korea. Should be getting in around 3pm. Adios Beijing
Just bought my ticket to South Korea for my 2nd Visa Run in January. Although a bit cheaper, I couldn’t handle another trip to Erlian/Mongolia. There is a first/last time for some things and a visa run through Erlian is one of them.
