Degen Hill is a digital media strategist, novelist, and relentless explorer of ideas and places. He’s visited 39 countries (and counting), owns an unhealthy number of football jerseys, and has proudly never finished last in his Fantasy Football league.

Professionally, Degen specializes in content creation, writing, and project management. He brings over 10 years of experience across digital media, Web3, and emerging tech, with deep expertise in agile workflows and cross-functional collaboration. His work blends strategic thinking with creative execution—always rooted in clarity, impact, and momentum.

On the literary front, he’s the author of Contraception (2018) and A Viral State (2021), with short stories published in multiple journals and anthologies.

Degen holds a B.A. in Spanish and Public Relations from Eastern Washington University and an M.A. in Politics & Foreign Policy from Tsinghua University. When he’s not writing or managing projects, you’ll find him lifting weights, reading speculative fiction, or obsessing over global systems and how to fix them.

He’s sarcastic but sincere, curious but grounded, and launched “No Meat Mondays” in 2021 as a personal experiment in discipline and sustainability.
