Bagan at sunrise is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen — full stop.
Solo trip to Yangon in 2020, just before everything changed. The country was opening up and there was this cautious optimism in the air that felt fragile even then. The people were extraordinary and the temples of Bagan are unlike anything else on earth. I'm glad I went when I did.
