The most meticulously crafted country in the world, where even convenience store food is extraordinary.
Visited in 2017 and Japan is just on another level. Everything works, everything is considered, and the attention to detail is almost surreal. From bullet trains to ramen shops to 1,000-year-old temples — it somehow all coexists without contradiction. One of the few places I've been that I genuinely can't wait to return to.
