Efficient, beautiful, and a lot more fun than its reputation would have you believe.
Visited Munich in 2015 and it immediately shattered any boring Germany stereotypes I had. The beer gardens are genuinely great, the architecture is stunning, and Bavarians have a warmth that sneaks up on you. Oktoberfest chaos aside, it's a seriously impressive city.
